Medical Center Respiratory and Home Care is a locally-owned, family-run business founded by Henry H Herring Jr. and wife, Myra in 1992 following the opening of our community pharmacy, Medical Center Pharmacy in 1990. MCP was formerly located in a large medical office building across from New Hanover Regional Medical Center. We quickly began to realize that patients being seen by the physicians in these offices not only needed medications, but many also required home medical equipment to assist in the treatment of their existing medical conditions. After realizing this need, Medical Center Respiratory and Home Care was founded to provide these and other patients with equipment such as oxygen, hospital beds, wheelchairs, bathroom safety equipment, and other daily aids to assist these patients as they work to maintain their independence and live at home in an environment where they feel safe and comfortable. Since that time, our business has greatly expanded in terms of size and service capabilities, and we are now able to offer our customers an extended selection of high quality, top of the line products as well as first class service. Our staff at Medical Center Respiratory and Home Care exhibits the highest level of integrity and compassion.
